The Benefits of Yoga
Yoga asanas (postures) are beneficial for the muscles, joints, cardiovascular system, endocrine and lymphatic system. They work on a deeper level on our meridians and strengthen our nervous system which harmonises our body and mind.
Breath awareness plays an important part in yoga. When we co-ordinate our breath with our movement the breath naturally deepens and our circulation and metabolism are stimulated.
